Welcome to the website of the Poulton Junior cricket teams. We use this website as an important means for ensuring that all parents and children are kept up to date with news, events and matches. We meet on different days at Poulton Cricket Club. In 2008, we will start coaching sessions on Friday 25th April and will run until the middle/end of August when holidays start to dwindle the numbers. Under 7s - Sunday 11th May, 10:00am - 12:00pm Under 9s - Sunday 4th May, 10:00am - 12:00pm Under 11s - Monday 28th April, 6:30pm - 8:15pm Under 13s - Friday 25th April, 6:30pm - 8:15pm Under 15s - Sunday 4th May, 10:00am - 12:00pm Under 17s - Wednesday (with the adults), 6:30pm onwards Coaching and matches are organised in the following six age groups: • Under 7s for Kwik Cricket and fun
• Under 9s using an increda-ball (looks like a cricket ball but no need for protective wear)
• Under 11s, Under 13s, Under 15s and Under 17s using a cricket ball For 2008, coaching sessions will be as follows:
• Under 7s and Under 9s - Sunday mornings 10:00am to 12:00pm
• Under 11s - Monday evenings 6:00am to 8:00pm
• Under 13s - Friday evenings 6:00am to 8:00pm
